Bear Archery Element Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Bear Archery
Bear Archery Model: Element
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows I acquired this bow two weeks ago at Dick’s Sporting Goods for $329.99 (it included a Throphy Ridge Dropzone fall-away arrow rest, a Throphy Ridge Alpha V3 vertical pins, and a 4 arrow quiver which means an over $120 value). I had before a Golden Eagle Litespeed I (2001) and later a Browning Micro Adrenaline (2004). Even both were great bows to shoot (very quiet and light), the Element surpasses them in speed and it is in noise reduction when shooting.
Things I like about the Bear Archery Element Bows: Set at # 60 peak draw weight and at 29" draw length, this bow shoots very smooth, very fast and quiet. It was ready to shoot from the box. It is very consistant. I was amazed that my first pin was accurate from 0-20yds, second pin from 25-35 yds and the third from 40 to 45 yds.
What I don't like about the Bear Archery Element : I read several reviews before I made an "educated" guess" and I found that some reported that this bow is "hard to draw". This is not my experience. I found it very smooth and not harder than other bows I tried before.
Bows Element quality: It is a solid bow and well balanced. Camo pathern is excellent and finish is superb.
Element summary: I would recommend it to my friends and to people looking for a real deal for the money without to compromise quality and performance. It is a very fast bow, very light and easy to handle (well balanced). The money you save on it will better be used for other accessories (a tree stand or other hunting gear).
