Matthews Archery Outback Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Matthews Archery
Matthews Archery Model: Outback
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows Your reading from a customer that has been sold on the "CATCH US IF YOU CAN" phrase of what I have believed is the best bow company to be found. I recently purchased the new Outback from Matthews.
Things I like about the Matthews Archery Outback Bows: We all have to appreciate the standard that Matthews has maintained over the years. The outback is extremely smooth and maintains a solid draw stop that allows for consistant draw length are arrow welocity. In addition to the features of old the Outback had the additional roller guard that allows for the smoothest draw on the Market. At 32 inches the outback offers a great range of movement for the treestand hunter and the new pattern is outstanding.
What I don't like about the Matthews Archery Outback: However, The the new parallel limb design has seen matthews loose some of the speed they have become infamous for. The outback is absolutley near impossible to paper tune and seems to spray arrows when attempting to shoot a group. The handle is great in theory but the point of impact is found directly in the palm. This has made extremely easy to cant your wrist that may bring some of the inconsistancy in a consistant grouping of shots. I know that it only takes one shot in the field but it takes great deal of confidence to be able to lower the boom on that Pope and Young buck we have been dreaming about the last 9 months. This review comes from a Matthews fan whos is dissapointed in this new product.
