Browning Tornado Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Browning
Browning Model: Tornado
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows I picked it up on line at the Outdoor Super store. I paid about 330 for it close to six weeks ago.
Things I like about the Browning Tornado Bows: As a kid I hunted archery for years. I got away from it when I discovered women and haven't been back to it since. My son is now 11 and I decided for his sake to take the sport back up again. The plan is to give this to him in a couple of years when he's ready for it. What I like is this bow is very adjustable and will grow with him as his arms and strength grows. For now he is just using a youth bow bought at wal-mart.
What I don't like about the Browning Tornado : I liked it and must say bows have come a long way since I was shooting my recurve. I would probably swear by this bow if it weren't for my friend allowing me to shoot his top of the line PSE. Now that bow is like driving a Mercedes and switching back to the Gran Prix isn't easy. It's also taller than some of the bows on the market. It may only be a few inches, but that can make a difference when in the field.
Bows Tornado quality: Well made, everything acts in unison. This bow will be around a long time.
Tornado summary: This is a nice bow my son can grow into and when he does I'll be buying myself the PSE. There's nothing wrong with the bow it's just that once you try a true upper shelf bow it's tough to turn back.
