Parker Archery Phoenix Guide 34 Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Parker Archery
Parker Archery Model: Phoenix Guide 34
Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Purchased from Cabela's for $699. I acquired this unit because everything that comes with it perfect for hunting applications and little time to "set up" a bow. This unit is ready to shoot out of the box with only fine tuning your personal preferences on the sight pins. Extremely smooth and quite bow. Parker has string dampening, limb dampening plus a great design.
Things I like about the Parker Archery Phoenix Guide 34: QUIEt! Solid! Parker did an exception job on the overall design and I like the quiver design, which also makes it quite. The quiver does not mount to the tradition sight mounting holes. Parker has manufactured holes into the riser where the quiver mounts in 2 pieces...no vibration with their design. I like fewer attachments (ie sights, quiver) in the same screw hole because there is less chance of vibration or something rattling loose. This bow does not have the string bite as some of the other bows that are compact. Another bonus!
What I don't like about the Parker Archery Phoenix Guide 34: I have had numerous bows and always would modify something. I can not think of anything to modify on this package.
Phoenix Guide 34 quality: The components are heavy duty and handle well in the field climbing up tree stands, riding in vehicles, and the incidental abuses that occur hunting.
Phoenix Guide 34 summary: The "package" price is cheaper than individually purchased items, ready to shoot saving you time and a super smooth, quite, flat shooting bow that groups tight at 50 yards increasing hunting success.
