Hoyt Ultra-Tech Bows

Bows Manufacturer: Hoyt
Hoyt Model: Ultra-Tech
Review Category: Bows

Purchase: Bows After much debate and trial of several bows, I purchased the Hoyt Ultra-Tech. This bow was the quitest & forgiving bow that I tried. The model I chose has the XT-2000 limbs. The purchase price for the bare bow was $700. This was the cheapest price from a dealer within a 100 mile radius. I am a Missoula, MT resident but traveld to Trout Creek, MT to purchase the bow. The local dealers lowest price was $840.

Things I like about the Hoyt Ultra-Tech Bows: People have different likes & dislikes, so I would advice everyone to purchase what they are comfortable with. This bow fit my hand like a glove. I had only two weeks to practice with this bow. My old bow twisted a limb two weeks before season opened. I was extremely concerned about starting the season off with a bow I had only shot for two weeks. My concerns went away after the second day of shooting this bow. It is easily set up & and the factory did an excellent job with pre-tuning. My confidence was higher with the Hoyt Ultra-Tech than any other bow I have owned.

What I don't like about the Hoyt Ultra-Tech: My only disappointment falls with the rated IBO speed. All the documentation from Hoyt references approximately 310 fps. I could only achieve 280 fps with a 400 gram arrow weight.

Bows Ultra-Tech quality: Simply the best!!

Ultra-Tech summary: I would recommend anyone seeking a new bow to check this one out.
