Fishing Lures - Berkley® Power Bait 4-Inch Flippin' Tube

Fishing Lures - Berkley

Fishing Lures - SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA - The top names in bass fishing got together one day and decided a large scale flippin' tube was needed. When Jay Yelas, Larry Nixon, Ken Cook and Gary Klein were finished brainstorming and working with the scientists at Berkley, the new 4-inch Flippin' Tube was created.

The 4-inch Flippin' Tube, with detailed texturing, projects a much larger image to attract fish from further distances. And the thicker tube walls add to the bait's durability. Made with Tournament Strength Power Bait® with bio-salt, the tube gives off a scent to attract the bass and a flavor that makes the bass hold on longer.

A 4/0 or 5/0 hook is best for the oversized 4-inch Flippin' Tube. Rig Texas style with the lightest worm weight possible for the fishing conditions at hand. This gives the Flippin' Tube a more swimming posture and action. Fish the 4-inch Flippin' Tube like any other, around docks, along grass beds and into heavy cover.

For optimum results, tie the 4-inch Flippin' Tube onto 25-pound Berkley Trilene® Big Game® line. If the water happens to be relative clear, 17-pound Berkley Trilene® Sensation™ is recommended. A Fenwick® Techna AV® telescopic Flippin'stik™ and Abu Garcia® Torno™ low profile reel are an ideal combo.

A package of six 4-inch Flippin' Tubes has a suggested retail price of $3.95.
