The bass fishing icon has won $1 million with the help of topwater fishing lures, on the Bassmaster Tour. Most serious bass anglers know that Rowland has become synonymous with the Pop-R. However, there is another topwater bait that he now can call his own: the Pop’n Image, Jr. The first time Rowland saw the Pop’n Image, Jr., he leaned back and proclaimed in his deep Texas drawl, “now that is going to be a fish catching son of a gun!� A fish catcher it has proven to be. Anglers discovered the 2 3/8" topwater could be walked or popped just as effectively. Either way, it’s going to find a way into a fish’s mouth.
