Muzzleloaders - CVA OPTIMA PRO™ 209 MAGNUM

Muzzleloading - CVA

Muzzleloading - ordinary muzzleloader. This revolutionary break action in-line has filled the huge void in the market for performance oriented break actions at an affordable price. Featuring a super hot 209 ignition system that is completely protected from the elements, the Optima Pro does not require the use of a capping tool and is a snap to clean.

With its 29” fluted barrel, shooters can be assured of a complete powder burn even with full 150-grain magnum pellet charges. And, the Optima Pro provides muzzle velocities up to 300 feet per second faster than standard muzzleloaders – 300 fps of velocity that could mean the difference between another passed shot or the trophy of a lifetime!

The stock on the Optima Pro is formed of a solid composite material that increases stability while reducing felt recoil. Also standard on the Optima Pro series is a dual cheek piece, and a radically designed pistol grip, making it comfortable to shoulder and easy to maneuver for both right handed shooters as well as lefties.

The Optima Pro also includes a reversible hammer spur, for unobstructed cocking when mounted with a scope. The Optima action also features an internal transfer bar for safe, reliable performance. Other notable features on the Pro include DuraBright™ Fiber Optic sights (guaranteed for life against breakage), ventilated recoil pad, Bullet Guiding Muzzle, metal loading rod, and it comes drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting.

Suggested retail on the Optima Pro begins at under $300 and comes backed by CVA’s famous lifetime mechanical warranty.
