Simmons's New Red Dot Scopes Make Fast Shooting, Sure Sighting

Hunting Scopes - Simmons

Hunting Scopes - Shotgun, handgun, rifle, and crossbow hunters have followed the lead of competitive pistol shooters in their enthusiasm for red-dot sights because they enable fast shooting with both eyes open. Simmons announces three new Red Dot scopes for those shooters and hunters who need to get on target quickly without sacrificing accuracy.

Two new Shot Dot scopes have 30mm tubes and come equipped with rings for mounting. The #851112 has a 4 MOA dot, while the #851234 has a unique Multi-Reticle that lets the shooter choose from a 4 MOA, 8 MOA, Crosshair, or Diamond reticle. A third new Red Dot scope, #851133, is designed especially for use with crossbows, with a 30mm tube and a crossbow reticle that incorporates four "hold over" reference points. All have a black matte finish and 1 MOA click adjustments for windage and elevation.

Red Dot scopes have unlimited eye relief and use a 3V lithium battery. They are simple to use; just turn on the switch and adjust the illumination by rotating the switch. Shotgun-shooting deer hunters find them ideal for moving quickly on running game while keeping both eyes open. Turkey hunters (in states where lighted reticle sights are allowed) find them helpful in low-light hunting situations and shoot more accurately than with open sights.

Suggested retail prices of the new Red Dot scopes are $69.99 for #851112 with 4 MOA dot; $99.99 for #851234 with Multi-Reticle; and $49.99 for the #851133 crossbow version.
