Two versions of the PowerPack Stove are being introduced – one providing up to 30,000 Btu of adjustable cooking power and the other up to 50,000. Both can be powered by a 16 oz propane cylinder or adapted for use with a refillable bulk tank. Previously, the highest output of any Coleman® two-burner propane stove was 20,000 Btu. The 30,000-Btu version has two 15,000-Btu independently adjustable burners and comes with four legs that are easy to add or remove as needed, thus placing the stove at a comfortable height for cooking without the need for a separate table. It takes just a few minutes to screw the legs into the bottom of the stove. A carry case for the legs comes with the stove. Intelligently designed to accommodate two large pots or pans at the same time, the stove still maintains a compact profile when packed down for traveling and storage. Both versions of the stove offer 285 square inches of cooking area and burners that are a full 14 inches apart, ample space for two 12-inch pots. By comparison, a standard propane two-burner stove has 240 square inches of cooking space with 11 inches between burners which should be plenty for your next camping trip or hunting expedition. In addition to being spaced farther apart, the burners on the PowerPack Stove are oversized (4 inches in diameter as opposed to 2 ½ inches on standard models), providing greater heat distribution over a wider area. The PowerPack Stove has the power of a much larger stove and is perfectly suited for cooking for large groups, yet it still weighs just 25 pounds and measures a compact 29 inches long, 17 inches wide and 8 inches tall in its closed position. Full and half-size removable griddle surfaces are available for separate purchase as accessory items for the PowerPack Stove, enhancing the stove’s versatility. Like other Coleman propane stoves, the PowerPack Stove also has these camp-worthy features: Removable lid accommodates oversized pots and pans. Perfectflow™ propane control system provides pressure regulation for consistent output throughout the life of the propane cylinder.
