Knight Lets Hunters Turn A Buck Into $1 Million

Muzzleloaders - Knight

Muzzleloaders - Centerville, Iowa – January 2004 — Hunters this fall can turn one buck into a million with the Million Dollar Buck Contest from Knight Rifles, the industry’s leader in modern muzzleloading innovations. To take home the grand prize of $1 million, a hunter must shoot a Boon & Crockett world record whitetail (typical or non-typical) with one of the new Knight Revolution™ muzzleloading rifles. In addition to bagging a $1 million, the lucky hunter will also take home a new 4x4 ATV.

The contest runs from Sept. 1, 2004, through Feb. 28, 2005. If a new world record whitetail is taken with any other Knight Rifles muzzleloader, that person will win $250,000 and a 4x4 ATV. If no record buck is taken, $10,000 and a Yamaha Grizzly ATV will go to the hunter who shoots the largest buck with a Knight Revolution.

The odds of winning are good, if you consider that 15-year-old Tony Lovstuen, of Albia, Iowa, shot the #3 Boone and Crockett nontypical whitetail on Sept. 15, 2003. The Lovstuen Buck is the largest non-typical whitetail deer ever harvested by a hunter. Tony shot his monster buck with a Knight DISC Extreme

The new Knight Revolution will see a lot of use in the upcoming deer season. It was designed for deer hunters and features a pivot-block action that drops out in seconds without any tools, making clean up quick and easy. It also features Knight’s Full Plastic Jacket ignition system, which guarantees reliable firing in deer hunting’s most foul conditions.
