RCBS Announces New ChargeMaster Series

Hunting Gear - Reloading

Reloading - RCBS is providing consistent accuracy with their newest and best line of electronic scales and dispensers to date. Serious shooters and reloaders will be impressed with new advancements made in powder charge dispensing speed, weighing accuracy and the versatility of this new series of products.

RCBS's ChargeMaster line features precision weighing that is accurate to plus or minus 1/10 of a grain. The ChargeMaster 1500 electronic scale can be purchased separately and can be upgraded with the ChargeMaster Dispenser at a later time. The entire system can also be purchased at one time as the ChargeMaster Combo. In both cases, you end up with a fully automated powder dispensing and weighing system. With a 1,500-grain capacity, users will be able to weigh powder, bullets, cases or even loaded cartridges.

One of the other features headlining the ChargeMaster series, which is the successor to the Powder Master series, is the speed with which the dispenser is able to throw the powder charge. While the Powder Master would take as much as 90 seconds to throw 60 grains of extruded powder, RCBS's newest dispenser has the capacity to throw the same powder charge in about 1/3 the time. (Actual time will vary on type of powder and lot to lot.)

Allan Jernigan, General Manager of RCBS says of the breakthrough system, "I think reloaders of all experience levels will be pleasantly surprised with our new line of electronic dispensers and scales. These new products are fast, accurate, versatile and very affordable."

In addition to throwing powder charges quickly, the ChargeMaster combination can also store up to 30 loads for fast, easy recall. There is no need for calibrating the powder each time you start a loading session. All the operator has to do is load the hopper, enter their favorite pre-programmed charge and hit the dispense button.

The new ChargeMaster 1500 also uses a higher quality load cell for improved stability. With this stability the scale is much less sensitive to vibration or wind and is quicker to stabilize on the load or when returning to zero. Also, the combination of scale and dispenser rely on only one power source. This eliminates the possibility of switching the two different power supplies.

Another convenient improvement of the ChargeMaster is the powder quick drain feature that allows you to quickly and easily drain any remaining powder out of the powder hopper.

With all these new features, these portable, accurate and high performance products are a must for reloaders of all experience and skill levels.

Also available from RCBS is the RangeMaster 750 electronic scale. This sleek, lightweight and portable scale with a capacity of 750 grains includes all the advanced features of its bigger counterpart, the ChargeMaster 1500. The RangeMaster 750 is a perfect choice for the lower-volume reloader. The RangeMaster 750 operates on AC power or on a 9V battery, making it a great scale for use at the range.
