Bryan "Cornfed" Anderson Wins The Latest Hunting & Fishing Gear Review Contest a $400.00 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card

Hunting & Fishing Gear Review

Congratulation to Bryan “Cornfed” Anderson on winning the latest Hunting & Fishing Gear Review contest. One of Bryan’s reviews was chosen as the winner of the $400.00 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card. Bryan lives in Illinois and practices all sorts of hunting, but prefers archery hunting a variety of game including turkey and deer hunting.

Bryan loves hunting and even admits he has a serious addiction towards bow hunting. In fact you may recognize Bryan’s “Cornfed” handle from several of the bow hunting forums he participates in. As Bryan states “Quality equipment is a very important aspect of any hunt. We all work so hard for that ONE chance at the buck of a lifetime, we simply can't afford to use anything but the most dependable equipment and accessories out there. That's why I love posting my thoughts and opinions on gear that works extremely well for me.”.

Bryan sent Hunting & Fishing Gear Review pictures of several large bucks he’s taken over the past few years. Pictured is Bryan with a buck he affectionately calls “ The Freak” because of it’s odd shaped rack. Here’s Cornfed’s description of how he bagged the large buck.

“The "Freak" was actually taken on a stalk. This buck had been giving me the slip for the entire early archery season. I had got close to the buck on a few different occasions but just couldn't put it all together. Amazingly enough, on Oct. 29 with an all-time record high of 79 degrees and a strong SW wind I actually glassed the buck bedded in a small brushy draw overlooking a small picked cornfield and the mock scrape that I knew he was using. An hour and a half and 400 yards of belly crawling later found me near the bedded weird racked buck. I knew there was a broken topped tree that he was bedded under in the briars. When my rangefinder read 27 yards that was as close as I dared. I rose to my knees while coming to full draw and to my amazement the buck was STILL there!!! The arrow flew true and the buck collapsed at the top of the draw. “

Bryan is an expert on the use of mock scrapes and has been asked by Hunting & Fishing Gear Review to Write a feature article on the use of mock scrapes. Bryan’s article will appear in Hunting & Fishing Gear Review later this week.

Once again congratulation to Bryan on winning the $ 400 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card from Hunting & Fishing Gear Review. For the next contest the giveaway is a not a $400, but $500 Gift Card. Submit A review today to claim your chance at winning this great prize.
