Hunter Safety System - FactsHunter Safety Systems-The Hunter Safety System was designed to replace the tangled straps so often associated with full body harnesses. For years, hunters have risked broken bones, paralysis or worse by ignoring the safety of wearing other harnesses because of the hassles involved in untangling them and figuring out how to put them on. As testament to the product’s safety, it has received all necessary certifications from the Treestand Manufacturers Association-TMA. The Hunter Safety System is fully adjustable and can be worn with a T-shirt during the early season as well as with heavy warm clothing. The chest and waist straps are adjustable with slide bars located between the fabric layers beneath the left pocket. By sliding these bars, the vest can be tightened or loosened as needed to accommodate the outerwear. Features of the vest include: rip-away stitching on the tether to cushion the impact of a fall to the body, Velcro pockets for radio, compass, cell phone, etc., deep pockets for gloves, hand warmers, etc., and a metal game-drag D-ring located in the rear. A game-strap provided with the unit loops around the deer’s head and snaps to the D-ring. This allows the hunter to use the entire body’s strength to drag the animal out of the woods. Besides being fully adjustable, the vest comes in three sizes and styles. The small/med is for hunters that weigh between 100 and 175 pounds. The medium/large fits those who are 175-to 250pounds while the large/2x is designed for those hunters that exceed the 250-pound mark. The vest can be sold as a full camouflage unit, full blaze orange or as a reversible model. The Hunter Safety System is being touted by numerous professionals in the hunting-related industry as the “Best treestand safety device on the market!”
