Horton's Legend Crossbow Times Three 2004

Hunting Gear - Horton Crossbows

Horton Crossbows- The Legend XT 175 and Legend XL 175 join the Legend 150 to make up Horton Manufacturing Company’s 2004 all new Legend series. The Legend stock, introduced in 1998, that quickly became a best seller is teamed with two innovative powerful and dependable front ends to introduce the XT 175 and XL 175.

Improvements to proven package delivers a new Legend 150.

The Legend XT 175, 175-pound draw-weight and shooting 300 f.p.s., with Horton’s DuraTip Integrated Yoke System is designed to handle the extreme loads of magnum-powered crossbows. Machined steel external-axle limb shrouds eliminate drilled axle holes in the non-tapered ToughBoy limbs with DP2 lamination are standard on the XT 175. The machined aluminum, anti-torque cable yoke teamed with tunable steel cables maintain cam timing of the machined aluminum/titanium alloy energy cams. The XT 175, only available at authorized Horton Gold Dealers, is finished in the effective and attractive Skyline Xtreme camouflage pattern.

The Legend XT 175 also has Horton’s new SoundStopper Strips and 7/8 inch dovetail scope base as crossbow only. As a Legend XT 175 Package, also included are Hunter Mult-A-Range 4X32 Scope, one-inch premium steel scope rings, the new Hunter Elite 4-arrow quiver, four Carbon Strike arrows and four practice tips.

The Legend XL 175, finished beautifully in Skyline’s Excel camouflage, features Horton’s all new SpeedMax Hybrid Cable System. This new system combines the best of both worlds, durable, non-stretch steel cables teamed with micro-tunable synthetic yokes. Synthetic yokes allow for micro-timing adjustments while reducing bow tip weight for increased speed. The XL 175 features ToughBoy wide-body limbs, steel external axle limb tips, precision metal riser with Horton’s all new SoundStopper Riser Pads. The new, feels great, looks great Legend XL 175 delivers 316 f.p.s. with a 175-pound draw-weight.

The XL 175 as crossbow only features a peep and pin sight system. As a package the Legend XL 175 also includes: Hunter Mult-A-Range 4X32 Scope, 7/8-inch dovetail, one inch premium steel scope rings, Hunter Elite 4-arrow quiver, 4-Carbon Strike arrows and 4-practice points.

The new and improved Legend 150, in Horton’s own Am-Busch camo pattern, is only available through an authorized Horton Gold Dealer. Delivering 270 f.p.s., the Legend 150 features a rugged cast riser, Horton’s I.C.A.D. steel cable system and machined aluminum/titanium allow energy wheels – all teaming up to deliver energy efficiently while providing a smooth draw.

Available Legend 150 Crossbow package also includes: Hunter Multi-range 3-dot Red Dot Sight, 4-arrow quiver, 4-Lightning Strike aluminum arrows and 4-practice points.

The speeds quoted were calculated using a Lightning Strike aluminum arrow with vanes and tipped with a 100-grain practice point. Velocity and energy may vary depending on arrows used.
