Coleman Introduces Its First Tabletop Propane Grill

Hunting Gear - Coleman

Hunting Gear - Camp grilling doesn’t get any simpler than this. Coleman’s new propane-powered Camp Grill sets up in a jiffy, fires up in seconds and is ready to grill almost anything in no time. Use it on a picnic table or on the ground, the Coleman® Camp Grill provides open-flame, drip-through grilling for family campouts, picnics in the park or tailgate parties. It comes standard with Coleman hallmark quality, durability and value for years of fun in the outdoors.

The Camp Grill features convenient portability with slim-line case and a weight of 8 pounds; yet it provides plenty of power with a 12,000 Btu burner that is fully adjustable. With 200 square inches of cooking surface, there’s considerable grilling space for steaks, burgers, brats, chicken breasts and breakfast sausages.

“The Coleman Camp Grill is bigger than most competitive models,” said Darrell Neugebauer, senior product manager. “It has heavier components and some bonus features, so it is a very good value compared to what’s been out in the marketplace.”

Two folding WindBlock™ shields can be locked in a vertical position to block the burner and grill surface from prevailing breezes to improve the grilling efficiency of the unit and reduce cooking time. The same shields can also be placed in a horizontal position to serve as shelves on either side of the grill to hold cooking utensils, spices, condiments or sauces. The upright lid also serves as protection from the wind.

Powered by a disposable 16.4-ounce propane cylinder, which attaches conveniently out of the way to the rear of the unit, the Camp Grill will run for approximately 4.5 hours on each cylinder.

Coleman’s PerfectFlow™ regulator ensures consistent fuel pressure and therefore consistent performance throughout the life of the propane cylinder.

A porcelain-coated cast-iron grill provides a durable, easy-clean surface for years of active duty.

Coleman’s Camp Grill is available in two models. The match-light version, which features a durable enamel-painted steel case with a blue lid, has a suggested retail price of $44.99. The InstaStart™ Camp Grill with push-button electronic ignition features a black lid and $49.99 MSRP. It will be widely available nationwide this spring at sporting goods stores, national chain stores and other outdoor gear retailers.
