Suzuki’s KingQuad® 700 ATV American Hunter's 2005 Vehicle of the Year

Suzuki KingQuad

Suzuki’s all-new KingQuad® 700 ATV, introduced late last year, has picked up its sixth major industry honor – 2005 Vehicle of the Year by American Hunter magazine. This makes Suzuki’s new flagship ATV the most-honored vehicle in its class. The KingQuad 700 was selected by American Hunter on the basis of reliability, design function and innovation, meeting evaluator expectations, and value. To be eligible for the honor, vehicles needed to be tested by a publication staff member or contributor and widely available to consumers during 2004.

“For several years now, Suzuki has re-dedicated itself to ATVs, and the result is a long list of innovations. This year’s Hunting Vehicle of the Year [KingQuad 700] is the cream of that crop,” explained American Hunter Editor-in-Chief Scott Olmsted in the May 2005 issue.

American Hunter’s Vehicle of the Year award is part of the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) Golden Bullseye Awards and will be presented to Suzuki at an awards ceremony in April in Houston.

The 2005 Suzuki KingQuad 700 was previously recognized as ATV of the Year by ATV Magazine; Best in Class by All-Terrain Vehicle; Big Bore Utility 4X4 Shootout Winner by Dirt Wheels, ATV of the Year by ATV Rider (Canada edition) and 4X4 ATV of the Year by ATV Illustrated Magazine.

“We’re honored to have American Hunter join other top industry publications in recognizing our new big-bore sport/utility ATV,” said Glenn Hansen, American Suzuki advertising and press relations manager. “We put a lot of time and research into designing an ATV with top-of-the-line features, power and performance to meet the needs of our customers.”

About the KingQuad 700 Suzuki’s 2005 KingQuad® 700 ATV is the new king of the big-bore sport/utility ATV class. This all-new 695cc fuel-injected four-stroke leads the pack as the only big-bore ATV in the sport/utility class to combine an abundance of rider-pleasing features, awesome power and performance, immediate response and durability — all at a competitive MSRP.

From the big-bore fuel-injected four-stroke engine to independent rear suspension to front differential lock to hydraulic disc brakes, the KingQuad is unmatched in overall performance, standard features and price in the sport/utility ATV class.

The new King of Suzuki’s ATV line-up has been developed with “Suzuki DNA” —a blend of advanced technology, uncompromising power, precise handling and outstanding value. Suzuki KingQuad’s fuel-injection system has been adapted from the championship-winning GSX-R sportbike, giving riders excellent fuel mileage, better throttle response and smoother engine power.
