Bow Hunting and Hunting Bows

AfterShock, HyperShock

Bow Hunting

Hot on the heels of the wildly successful & proven HyperShock 100 and 125, AfterShock Archery™ introduces two new members to the Bad-Boy club. The HyperShock 80 with its 1.375” cut and the Tremor 125 with a 2” cut use all the same materials and state of the art “Physical™” technology found in the rest of the HyperShock line. The ultra accurate Hardcoated 4-play cutting tip and body, HyperSlice curved blades and PROVEN flight accuracy beyond compare. Both of these new broadheads also feature the patent-pending Non-Wedging, penetrate-first, then deploy blade geometry and patent pending inboard C-of-G blade physics that guarantees blades cannot open on release, but makes sure they open at target every time. Now Crossbow and Fast-bow hunters have a highly lethal and reliable alternative. There are no fines or jail time for breaking the laws of Physics – You just can’t. The HyperShock and Tremor line are the first broadheads in history engineered to use physics instead of fighting it. Proudly - Made in the USA.

Additional Data:
Billet 7075-T6 ferrule and 4-Play™ cutting tip that is Type 3S Hardcoat Anodized. This gives the HyperShock strength and machining accuracy unmatched by any other broadhead. The perfectly aligned cutting tip-to-blade location is crucial to the accurate flight aerodynamics. The Hardcoat (type III) anodizing process is the hardest and most durable. The HyperShock is the only broadhead that has it. The HyperShock was made to be able to enter game with the least amount of kinetic energy used. Then use the remaining energy to drive massive curved HyperSlice™ blades through vitals and bring the harvest to a quick close. The 4-play cutting tip will cut, fracture and punch its way through bone and allow the rest of the HyperShock to glide through and open its blades “Beyond the Bone”. 3 way blade actuation to guarantee the blades will absolutely open when required and not before. 1: Deceleration (see C-of-G below) 2: Bleeder blade deflection (exposes opposite blade tips) 3: Rear trip levers. Inboard Center-of-Gravity blade geometry.

Having the C-of-G inboard now allows fast bows and Crossbows to use the HyperShock without fear of premature blade opening. Unlike other mechanicals - the faster the acceleration, the tighter the blades stay shut. On impact (or deceleration), the same geometry helps deploy the blades instead of hindering them! The O-ring is only there to keep blades closed during handling. Because of the inboard C-of-G, the O-ring doesn’t have to fight premature blade opening. As a bonus, the O-ring helps reset the blades in flight if a branch were to hit the trip levers! These are revolutionary innovations that bring a level of reliability and function never before seen in mechanical broadheads .

Exposed HyperSlice and Double-Cross blade design.

The only mechanical with Samurai style curved blades that slice rather than try to chop and waste energy. The blades also cross over center on each other to expose “bleeder” regions from the opposite side. In yet another exclusive feature, when these bleeder areas encounter resistance, they help initiate blade deployment.

Fully rebuildable and reliable

The HyperShock takes reliability to new heights. Even the pivots and blade stops were designed to stop the shearing forces and failures that plaque other designs. The blades use each other’s pivots as limiting stops. These stops are in compression, not shear (like other designs). With this broadhead, complete blades changes can be done in less than 30 seconds.

Unmatched accuracy and speed (energy) at target.

In independent controlled and fixtured bow shooting tests at 60 yards, the HyperShock, again and again, flew into the same hole as the same weight competition field point! Many claim field point accuracy without coming close - HyperShock goes beyond the call of duty and delivers competition level accuracy. All HyperShock packages also come with target shooting blade restraints. So anyone can practice with it without having to changes blades or destroying targets with its massive blades opening. Again, the inboard center-of-gravity insures the HyperShock will load the arrow right down the center of the spine for accurate flight, highest retained kinetic energy at target and massive takedown power.
