Simmons Spotting Scopes

Hunting

SIMMONS may be taking the industry by storm with its new hunting scopes designs, but that doesn’t mean it has forgotten about spotting scopes. Indeed, this reinvented brand has reinvented its spotting scope line-up as well, now offering three families of spotters that cover a broad range of applications from hunting to target shooting and also covers a variety of price points.

While the new spotting scope families have distinctive features that differentiate them, they share a number of premium features designed with the hunter, shooter, and wildlife watcher in mind. All Simmons spotting scopes are manufactured using a lightweight polycarbonate that reduces overall weight while remaining durable and impact-resistant. A rubber armor covering further protects the body of the spotting scope from the damage and abrasions associated with extreme hunting conditions, as well as minimizing noise from bumps that could spook game.

Each spotting scope features a sliding sunshade that is built into the body of the spotting scope to reduce glare in extremely bright light. This means instant access to the sunshade and no more lost screw-on shades!

All Simmons spotting scopes are waterproof, fog-proof, and nitrogen-purged to ensure years of quality service, unaffected by any climactic condition hunters are likely to encounter while hunting.

Even the most affordable spotting scopes in Simmons’ new line-up include a collection of accessories that are usually reserved for very high-priced models. Each is furnished with a hard shell aluminum case, a soft case for use in the field, a tripod, and a tripod case.

The three new families of spotting scopes include:

• Master Series™ - As with riflescopes, the premier family of spotting scopes will be the Master Series. They feature high-index BaK-4 prisms and high-quality, precision-ground lenses with multiple layers of anti-reflective coatings for optical performance that puts them at the top of their class. Designed for lightweight portability, Master Series spotting scopes have an optical system that allows them to be at least an inch shorter than would be expected of each configuration.

Two models are offered in the Master Series spotting scopes, a 15-45x60mm and 20-60x80mm, both with black finish. Suggested retail prices are $380.99 and $598.99, respectively.

• Wilderness® Series – These spotting scopes feature the higher magnifications and larger objective lenses needed to get up-close and personal with the most elusive targets. They are perfect for scoping out your target from long range. They also feature high-index BaK-4 prisms and multicoated lenses for optical performance that is unexpected in its class of spotting scopes.

Four versions of the spotting scope are offered: two 15-45x65mm models in black or camo; a 20 60x77mm; and a 25-75x90mm. Suggested retail prices range from $259.99 to $398.99.

• ProSport™ Series Spotting Scopes – Designed for the more price-conscious outdoors enthusiast, ProSport spotting scopes are possibly the best value on the market, loaded with premium construction features and accessories. They have BK-7 prisms and fully-coated, precision-ground lenses.

Two configurations are offered: a 12-36x50mm spotting scope and a 20-60x60mm spotting scope, both with black finish. Suggested retail prices are $124.99 and $159.99.
