Product Information & Facts Ask any hunter how important good, effective camouflage is to the success of any hunt and the reply will be unanimous. Camouflage is absolutely essential! The only problem was, little thought had ever been given to one of the most important aspects of effective camouflage.

The eyes, may indeed be ‘The windows to the soul’, but for the hunter they present three other, major problems.

1. Man is a predator and like all predators our eyes are positioned in the front of the head as opposed to the side of the head placement of prey animals. This placement allows us to focus and gauge depth but also makes us an easily recognizable threat.

2. Man is the only animal, besides the moose, in the woods with whites in our eyes. Again, this is easily detected, making man an easily recognizable threat to prey game.

3. Although a hunter is capable of remaining still, the eyes are constantly moving. In fact, we move our eyes more than any other part of our body.

CAMOVISION™ Eye Wear solves these problems by expertly hiding the eyes behind a camouflaged lens. The wearer can see out, but nothing can see in. The result is total, complete, effective camouflage.

Optics

After reading another review about the PSE Baby G we just had to write another about how great the PSE Baby G is in our words. What a nice setup. My Step-Son and I purchased them at the beginning of Summer off Cabela's. They ran about $450 at the time, but now I see them other places a little cheaper.

It's kind of like one stop shopping. Rather than spend several nights shopping for accessories and all we were able to buy them all in one place. What is most important to myself is every item was made for the bow, not some generic fitting items. It had been several years since I hunted archery and was mildly surprised at the weight of bows now days. Then I picked up the PSE baby G and was even more surprised at how light it was.

For a few extra bucks they could have hired some people to fully put them together. I felt like it was Christmas morning again putting toys together for the kids. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed every second of putting it together, but would rather have been shooting.

This a fine piece of machinery, light, well made, an 80% lket off what more do you want.

To finalize I'm sure I'd be impressed with most any of the new compounds. The PSE Baby G takes the cake. I'm shooting better with it everyday. It's a pleasure to shoot. It's light and fast, and accurate. If you're ready to buy definitely take a look at this one.

Duck Calling Kit

Calls

I picked it up the night before a hunting trip last year. I'm new to Duck hunting and the kit came with an instructional tape which was half the reason I bough it.

The tape has detailed instructions which I need. Through the years I've hunted just about everything and it felt awkward to be a rookie again. The call worked well for me the one time I had it out before the season was over. I won't count the day after I bought it since I didn't have time to view the tape until a few days after that trip.

It's kind of funny looking for a call. It looks cheaper than it really is. Put some camo on it or something.

I don't know what to say in this area. I can tell you it's still working after a couple of field outings and much practice in my living room.

The duck calling kit is a great place to start. The video gives great instructions. If you've hunted for a while and haven't tried duck hunting you owe it to yourself to give it a try. It's definitely brought back a lot of life to my hunting. Let me tell you it's not easy either.

Baby Grand Lite

Tree Stands

I bought this last year at Van's Tackle and Gear shop. I laid out around seventy bucks for it.

When you read what I don't like you'll understand. The concept was there, just didn't work out right.

I wanted a small stand that I could hang in a real tight area on the back of my buddy's property. I didn't want to pay a lot as the area I would be hanging it was on his far edge and not to far from a road that would allow a lot of people to see it once the leaves fall. The area has a lot of scrubs with only a couple of trees I could hang stands in. I am 6 foot and a half and didn't think I would have a lot of room and I certainly didn't. That was the problem, I felt like one of the Flying Lewinda's or something. I don't know of a reason that a stand can't have a nice big platform and still not be heavy.

The stand is well made from a quality stand point, my issue is with the design size.

I am going to give the stand and it's hunting location to my Nephew to hunt in when he arrives for the season. He's 12 and kind of small for his age so he shouldn't have a problem with it. It's a nice small stand.

Foggy Mountain

Total Season Deer Lure

Other

I bought this on the net directly from Foggy Mountain. I have a small archery shop and am selling it for jsut over $20.00 a bottle/

As on their advertising it's true a deer will know when the rut is a lot sooner than we will. I thought about this and it does make a lot of sense. I've used it three times in my pre-season trips and to date I've had a few nice ones come in to me and they appeared curious about the odor. One note is make sure you don't put it right behind you, as this will have their focus directly on you, I wasn't thinking and made this mistake.

You always wonder if this stuff works or not. I wish there was a lot more reviews on this stuff. Hopefully this website will add a category for reviews of buck lures to cut through the crap so I'm not wasting my money and will know what will sell.

Nice big bottle and they tell you to lay it down just like a deer would, lots of it.

It certainly isn't scaring them away so I'm gonna give it two thumbs up. A couple of guys in the store the other day said they've used it as a masking scent and it worked well for them.
