Fisherman Series 620VS From Ranger Boats

Fishing Gear

Ranger Boats Fisherman Series 620VS combines responsive maneuverability, handling and fishability, the 620VS offers a number of distinct advantages over other rigs. Flared bow contours and a wide beam make the 620VS extremely user-friendly and comfortable while the 25 ½" transom height allows it to easily support today's outboards.

The Ranger 620vs is equipped with more deck space and features an ultra solid one-piece-feel. Stretching 20' 3" in length, the 620VS sports a deeper, wider vee hull to crush rougher waters. Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering brings fluid, responsive handling to the helm. On-board electronics include solid-state digital switching at the console while performance instrumentation embraces a cluster of speed, tach, fuel, trim and water pressure gauges. Rated for a maximum of 250 horsepower, the 620's integrated engine set-back not only enhances acceleration, but also provides more interior room and easier access to stern-mounted equipment.

Additional electronics are highlighted by an on-board charger, 24 volt Minn Kota trolling motor and a Lowrance X-135 fishfinder. Utilizing the breakthrough technology of the all-new LowranceNET networking system, the 620VS enjoys optimum flexibility with standard electronic features while also being pre-wired for future additional accessories you might add to the Ranger 620vs.

"With so much input from anglers across the country, the design of the new 620VS benefits from even more interior room, more gear storage, more fishable space, greater stability and smoother re-entry in rough water," said Randy Hopper, President of Ranger Boats. "Bow to stern, this rig is well-balanced and truly lives up to the Fisherman Series reputation for total performance."

Inside, the 620VS features four all-weather SRS fold-down seats, two bell pedestals, two power pedestals and is custom fitted with premium marine upholstery. The 620VS is further equipped with stainless steel handrails, pull-up tie cleats, tinted windshield(s) and a skid resistant covering on the bow. Combined with the unmatched strength of a pultruded solid fiberglass transom, foam-filled fiberglass stringer system and upright level flotation, the 620VS carries a tremendous value with reassuring peace of mind.

Featuring a broad 96" beam, the rig is honeycombed with lockable storage. Rod boxes handle rods up to 8' in length and include the added security of gas spring lid assists. In the rear, the 620VS features carpeted rod storage with organizers and mesh storage pouches for additional convenience. An in-floor battery compartment provides even stronger ballast while also enhancing the 620's sure-footed tracking. Alongside the passenger seating, a runnin' rod rack provides quick access to more frequently used fishing rods.

Beneath the front deck, a built-in cooler and center compartment specialize in convenience and deliver an abundance of gear storage. Elsewhere, the 620VS features a big 50" recirculating aerated livewell and baitwell with filter screens and automatic timers. With the oversized well positioned at the stern, rougher waters have less impact and the entire fishing boat carries a softer, more stable feel.

Equipped with a tandem axle custom-matched trailer, the 620VS is easier to maneuver and enjoys the smooth trailering benefits of custom alignment and individually balanced wheels. Up front, the center swing jack retracts flush to the frame and creates a more balanced load, making it even more secure on the boat trailer. Covered with Ranger Boats' exclusive Road Armor Equipped protective coating, the trailer enjoys a super-tough shield guarding against virtually every normal road hazard. Combined with matching fiberglass fenders, aluminum wheels, spare tire and wheel, Ranger's exclusive oil bath COOL Hub® lubrication system, torsion axle suspension, and swing-away tongue.
