Nikon Monarch Rifle ScopesNikon engineered their Monarch series of rifle scopes to provide the hunter with a large, sharp site picture while minimizing the over length of the rifle scope. With their Monarch series of scopes Nikon pushes optical performance with features find in much more expensive scopes. Not only do you get a feature packed scope, the short size of the Nikon Monarch series allows them to be mounted on most any rifle. Compare A Huge Selection Of Rifle Scopes On One Page The new Monarch features their Eye Box design which provides a comfortable four inches of eye relief that doesn’t vary by power range and allows you to maintain the same field of view. With other rifle scopes you can lose up to a full inch of eye relief between high and low powers. A small, but excellent feature is that Nikon placed a rear magnification indicator on the zoom control allowing you to quickly see what power level the rifle is set at. Nikon placed its patented BDC reticle on every Monarch model. If you’re not familiar with the Nikon BDC reticle it allows the hunter to hold dead-on at far ranges through the use of the BDC’s unique ballistic circles. The BDC’s ballistic circles provides a great advantage for long range shooting, but also allow a normal sight picture for short range shots. You can also choose to have your Monarch with one of Nikon’s other reticles. See Our Rifle Scope Reviews Area Suggested retail price of the Nikon Monarch series rifle scopes are from $409-$649 depending upon the power of scope you choose.
