Cabela's-Sport Pac Portable Power Generator

Release

Jump start a vehicle, bring electricity to your campsite or run power tools miles from the nearest electrical outlet with this innovative power generator. The Sport Pac Portable Power generator is a necessity for your vehicle and home because it can be used for so many purposes, including emergencies.

Dependable and compact, this generator can easily be stored in your vehicle or garage for use nearly anywhere. Use it to generate electricity for your campsite, or in an emergency, for your home. If you're using trimmers or power tools far from the closest power source, just plug them in and start working. The high-surge, 300-watt inverter provides 110 volts of AC power anywhere, while the 12-volt DC power source has an automatic circuit overload protection. You get 1,100 peak amps.

The built-in charger stores enough electricity to run a 13" television for four hours, or power a lamp for much longer. If your car battery dies, just clamp the heavy-duty safety clamps onto the battery. The 29"-long welding-guage cables that attach the clamps to the unit give you plenty of flexibility to jump start any vehicle, and the clamps easily penetrate corrosion on battery terminals. You can also recharge your Sport-Pac while you are driving or when 120 VAC household voltage is not available. Handy pockets keep the clamps out of the way when not in use. There's even an emergency light on the front of the unit that you can twist into any position. A charging LED indicates when charging is in process, and there's a battery status indicator gauge on the front. And this generator can take abuse, thanks to a rugged, heavy-duty case. $99.00 at Cabela's 09/22/03
