Introduced in 2001, these highly efficient cartridges bring true magnum power to the short action platform. Now Remington is matching the strength and accuracy of the Model 700 design with our Premier® Short Action Ultra Mag offerings. The Model 700 BDL SS (Stainless Synthetic) offers all of the reliable design features of the Model 700 BDL housed in a rugged, all weather black synthetic stock complete with swivel studs. The short action receiver and clean 24-inch magnum contour barrel are constructed of 416 stainless steel with a satin finish. The hinged floor plate magazine has a 3 + 1 round capacity and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. At the top of the class of premier long range, short action magnum rifles is the Model 700 Sendero SF (Stainless Fluted). Features include a 416 stainless action, bedded in a hand laid-up composite stock reinforced with aramid fiber, swivel studs and a 26-inch free-floated, 416 stainless steel barrel with longitudinal fluting for added rigidity and heat dissipation.
