Native Trout and CompanyNative Trout & Company didn’t want to be just another fishing rod company. We desired to separate ourselves from others by incorporating the highest quality materials available and hand craftsmanship into ultralite rods for the fishing enjoyment of our customers. Through research, testing and design we believe we have achieved our goal. Our rods have been tested and approved by professional anglers to provide the performance and pleasure expected from a rod of this quality. Frames Titanium carbide that is applied over chromed stainless steel is a combination designed to avoid corrosion and abrasion. Rings (guide) Diamond polished Silicon Carbide (SiC) rings, polished to the smoothest possible surface among the “ceramic” materials. Silicon carbide offers the ultimate thermal shock resistance, perfect for any rod where line speed, friction, and build-up are at the maximum. These rings are virtually the thinnest and lightest in weight to provide maximum performance. Hook keeper Incidentally this is a handy feature found on few rods. Not only does this rod provide the ultimate performance but with the “hook keeper” convenience is a factor as well. Grip The blank goes through the Highest quality Portuguese Super Cork allowing the most comfort while maintaining the greatest sensitivity possible. Blank (rod) This is high strain graphite permitting an advanced amount of sensitivity, strength and durability. Featuring a clear gloss finish bringing out the natural graphite color. Reel Seat (three band design) Unique locking mechanism designed to prevent reel wobble. Made by Fuji this reel seat is top of the line in providing security for even the toughest action. Native Trout & Co. has added a third band delivering the most security in ultralite design Threads/Epoxy Each rod is hand threaded and secured with marine grade epoxy.
