Browning Citori Lightning Feather Combo

Product Spotlight

Still the most popular over and under available, the Citori line of shotguns is recognized for a flawless level of craftsmanship and absolutely reliable function. Components are machined to exacting tolerances, heat-treated and carefully fitted with the traditional lamp-black and file method to ensure the correct fit of critical components prior to being hand-fitted to the action. Precise wood-to-metal fitting is performed to ensure tight, consistent junctions.

We invite you to compare the following quality characteristics of the Browning Citori to any other competitor:

Hammer Ejectors Browning ejectors are fired by a sharp hammer blow. This strike gives more positive ejection than the push imparted on competitors’ ejectors. The automatic ejectors eject. Safety Manual thumb safety, combined with barrel selector mechanism. Back-Bored Barrels All 12 and 20 gauge Citori shotguns feature back-bored barrels. These barrels have a bore diameter increased to its maximum specification. This reduces the friction of the shot charge against the barrel wall, resulting in an increase in shot velocity. Because there is less constriction or pressure from the forcing cones on a shot charge, there are fewer deformed pellets — this leads to more uniform patterns than with standard barrels.

Choke Tubes All Citori shotguns include interchangeable choke tubes. The selection of chokes is determined by the gun’s intended purpose (field, sporting, etc.) Trigger Hammers are powered by strong coil-type main springs for certain primer ignition. With the barrel selector, you can choose which barrel fires on the first pull of the single trigger. The second pull fires the remaining barrel. All Sporting Clays, XT and XS Series Citori shotguns come equipped with the Triple Trigger™ System, which allows you to adjust the length of pull and switch between a wide checkered, a narrow smooth and a wide smooth canted trigger shoe. Safety Lock All new Browning firearms are shipped with a free trigger lock, cable lock, padlock, or chamber lock (shown) depending on model, to assist you in the safe storage of your firearm.

Locking Bolt The Citori is the only over and under with a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt. The tapered hinge pin locking bolt engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. The taper allows the bolt to seat deeper over the years. It’s the reason people say "a Browning wears in ... not out." The hinge pin extends from one side of the receiver to the other for maximum strength.

Chrome Chambers All Citori shotguns feature chrome-plated chambers for corrosion resistance.

Description: Includes 3" chambered 20 gauge and 2 3/4" chambered 28 gauge barrels in 27" length. Lightweight alloy receiver with dovetailed steel breech face and steel hinge pin. Includes luggage case. An upland shotgun that can do it all. The Citori Lightning Feather Combo includes both 3" chambered, 20 gauge back-bored barrels with Invector-Plus™ chokes and 2 3/4" chambered, 28 gauge barrels with Standard Invector™ chokes, in a versatile 27" length. For anyone whose passion is upland game hunting, the Citori Lightning Feather Combo is the shotgun
