Fenwick Techna AV

Release

Well, we're not about to make them. We'll let you find out for yourself. Cast any Fenwick Techna AV and you'll realize how remarkable Aramid Veil technology truly is. And while our Techna AV series is typified by extra fast actions, this year we added a few moderate actions for situations where a softer rod handles better.

It you're serious about this sport, you've tried an ultra-high modulus rod or two. You might even own one. But with those other rods, it seems like you're doing all of the work when trying to accurately cast lightweight baits a long distance or set the hook on reflex.

In fact, many even break. Not the Techna AV. Providing up to 4 times more impact resistance than ordinary graphites, the Aramid Veil acts like a sedative on the high-modulus graphite. It's strong yet lightweight, giving you jaw-dropping performance with finishing school manners. A wider range of presentations and techniques. Straighter tracking for pinpoint accuracy. Sensitivity without static. All promises the Fenwick Techna AV naturally keeps.

About Fenwick

Birth of the legend

In 1953 near the shores of Lake Fenwick in Kent Washington two gentlemen had idea born out of the realization that for them, fishing was not a pastime. It was an essential competitive experience. For Harold Edwards and Tom Andreson the intense satisfaction fishing had to offer came from perfecting their fishing skills by using technology to perfect the rods they used to hone those skills. Performance was everything.

Like Harold and Tom, our customers believe that there are few things in their lives more essential than fishing. For them no other activity offers the same emotional and psychological satisfaction. They are students of their sport, constantly experimenting with new tools and technologies with which to refine their techniques. These are fishermen who measure success not by the quantity but by the quality of their catch.

Every rod we build has been designed to solve a specific fishing problem. Each was created to deliver a particular bait, on a specific line, a particular distance, to a certain size and species of fish, using a precise technique, under a given set of conditions. But regardless of how many rods we make, each one represents a lifelong contract between us and its owner to deliver a lifetime of satisfying fishing experiences where ever and whenever they fish.
