Falcon Graphite Rods Falcon Cara® Series

Product Spotlight

Falcon Graphite Rods™ has set the standard in specialty rods with its Cara® Series rods. Every Cara® Series rod features an American-made graphite blank exclusive to Falcon. The F45 blank is based on our popular LowRider® actions but uses a higher modulus graphite for a noticeable weight reduction and increased sensitivity.

Like the Falcon Expert™ Series, the Cara® Series features the Lite-Bite™ reel seat. This "blank-thru" reel seat allows the angler direct contact with the rod blank, increasing sensitivity.

The guide rings are Fuji Hardloy™ material. With the introduction of the LowRider® Series in 1996, Falcon pioneered the use of low-profile single-footed guides to improve casting performance. The Cara® Series continues this tradition of innovation. Using LowRider® alignment, the Hardloy™ guides improve sensitivity, increase casting distance, and reduce line abrasion. The handles are Grade-A Portuguese cork.

The Cara® Series includes casting models for a variety of freshwater and light saltwater applications. Retail prices range from $110 to $159, depending on the model. These prices fall between the LowRider® and Expert™ Series and continue Falcon’s standing as the best value in fishing.

The Cara® series has undergone extensive field-testing. Mark Davis fished with a Cara® rod when he won $75,000 at the WCF event in Monroe, Louisiana. Mark remarked, "I caught all my fish on the seven-foot medium heavy. These new Cara rods are excellent. It reminds me when Falcon came out with the LowRider® Series. There’s a big improvement."

Like all Falcon rods, the Cara® Series is made in the USA with our own American-made graphite blanks and 100% Fuji guides and reel seats.
