SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA - Minnow shaped lures have been catching fish worldwide for decades. The more realistic the finish and the action the baits have, the better job they've done. One lure, Abu Garcia's Tormentor, in Europe has been getting a lot of attention the last few years and, now for the first time, is available in North America.

The attention has been due mostly to the custom look of each bait and the fact that Tormentors really catch fish. It matches the food chain of game fish like no other.

Three sizes of Tormentor are available. The floating 2-inch model weighs just 1/8 ounce and is ideal for ultra-light fishing conditions for trout and panfish. The 3 and 3 1/2 inch Tormentor has both a floating version that weighs 5/16 and 3/8 ounce and sinking in 7/16 and 5/8.

These baits are Nordic proven and are great for trout, walleye, bass and panfish. The torpedo shape creates rocket-like long-distance casts with pinpoint accuracy.

The Tormentors are hand painted by air brush with five different realistic finishes including black and silver, silver with copper and blue, rainbow trout, green shad and black back. All three sizes have a suggested retail price of $3.99.
