BLUE FOX COVERS THE WATER Vibrax Blade Angle System Lets You Fish Three Different Depths

Press Release

Blue Fox Tackle Co“, known for its innovative fishing products, introduces the Vibrax Blade Angle System, a series of blades that allows anglers to fish at different depths.“We basically combined geometry with fishing,” said Mark Fisher, head of Rapala’s Pro Staff. “The blades rotate to the body of the lure at angles which will determine how deep the lure will go.

A 60-degree blade is going to hit the water and create some resistance, keeping it near the top. A 45-degree blade is going to cut the water a little less, diving 2 or 3 feet down. A 30-degree blade will send it that much deeper, down to 4 or 5 feet. The “cover the water” system will help you locate fish and return to strike zone with each cast.

These brass stamped, chrome plated, laser holographic blades come in painted and printed patterns, and is available in three new Vibrax lure lines:

Vibrax Shallow
The Vibrax Spinner line has become a standard for every anglers arsenal. Now comes the Vibrax Shallow, a spinner that topwater fish won’t have a chance against. A 60-degree blade keeps this little gem close to the surface. “It’s great for shallow water, over structures or when fish are feeding on top,” said Fisher. “To catch aggressive fish, burn it fast to create a ‘bulge’ just below the surface of the water.”

The main body is zinc diecast and chrome plated, with laser holographic and painted finishes. Free turning, the Vibrax Shallow has the familiar rattling when rubbing against the bell, a Vibrax Spinner signature.

The Vibrax Shallow comes in six different patterns: Shiner, Shad, Blue Shad, Black Chartreuse, Firetiger and Rainbow Trout. It also comes in four different sizes: 7/64 oz., 1/8 oz., 3/16 oz., and 1/4 oz., has the classic 3-D prism eyes with a cuff tail.

Flash Deep
Also new to the Blue Fox premium lures is Flash Deep, a rooster-tailed runner with a 30-degree blade that gets down deep where the big guys live.

“A slow retrieve can drop it even deeper,” said Fisher. “After you cast, take advantage of the ‘fluttering’ blade as the lure descends to the desired depth.”

A laser holographic blade and body finishes create extra fish-attracting “flash”. Comes in Shiner, Shad, Blue Shad, Rainbow Trout, Firetiger and Black Chartreuse colors, and 7/64 oz., 1/8 oz., and 3/16 oz. sizes with 3-D prism eyes.

Nature Deep
With a naturalistic grasshopper body, matching blade and rooster-flashtail, this spinner will be irresistible to big fish. A free turning brass gear eliminates line twist, so you can spend more time catching fish. The 30-degree blade is matched with a zinc diecast body to get this lure deeper than the average in-line spinner.

The Nature Deep comes in Hopper Green/Orange, Hopper Green/Brown, Brown/Orange, Brown/Yellow, Yellow/Black, and Yellow/Orange. Sizes are 7/64 oz., 1/8 oz. and 3/16 oz.
