Fishing Gear - New RhinoŽ Tough Rods for 2004

Fishing Gear - Press Release

Fishing Gear- The name RhinoŽ on fishing tackle signifies strength and durability . . . the kind of toughness unmatched by any other brand in the industry. Which is why the new Indestructible Rod series proudly bears the Rhino name. Rhino's Indestructible Rods feature a high-strength tension-wound graphite inner core for a rock-solid backbone, but without additional blank weight.

A double-woven E-glass fibrous outer skin is wrapped around the core to provide additional protection from just about every kind of encounter possible. This reinforced graphite core is manufactured with the same unbreakable construction that has proven itself over the last decade.

Aluminum aircraft hardware is used in the reel collar to ensure durability and a secure lock-down when seating a reel. It all has to do with being able to live up to the reputation as Rhino tough. In fact, the new Rhino Indestructible series is so tough that it comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY.

The new Rhino Indestructible rods are available in both Casting and Spinning models. The casting family consists of seven different actions ranging from medium-light to medium-heavy. The spinning family has nine members with different actions ranging from light to medium. The Rhino Indestructible Rod retails for around $19.99.

Also new to the Rhino arsenal is the XL rod series. Featuring thick-walled E-glass blanks, double wrapped guides, and contoured cushioned EVA handles, the new Rhino XL series is built tough for big game on big water.

The XL series is available in three casting models, a 6' heavy-action, and 7" medium and 7'6:" heavy-action. The four spinning models are: 10' medium, 6'6" medium, 7' medium and 87 heavy. The Rhino XL series retails for around $19.99.
