Bow Hunting- Shoot Better The New QuikSpin the Talk of VegasEven before the World Archery Festival and Vegas Shoot officially opened this past Friday, a crowd had gathered around the trade show booth of New Archery Products. Since the debut of NAP’s innovative new product, the QuikSpin Vane, the archery world has been abuzz. A number of the world’s top shooter’s decided to use the QuikSpin at the Vegas Shoot, having had only days to practice with the new vanes. With thousands of dollars in prize money on the line, that is a testament to the faith that shooters have in the vane. Said Frank Tybush, “I’m amazed. I’m very impressed at how quickly [the vane] stabilizes a less than perfectly executed shot.” Bruce Malmberg agreed. “[The QuikSpin] is very consistent and very forgiving. I’ve had shots going off that should’ve been 9’s [but ended up] X’s, no problem. They’ve made a huge difference.” By Sunday, both Bruce and Frank were having a hard time getting practice because of the curiosity and barrage of questions from other shooters. “At one point, I had no arrows to shoot because everybody kept taking them to look at. There were questions about them all the time—at the practice range, in the elevator, the hallways, even in the washroom!” New Archery’s Technical Advisor Cary Pickands lost count of how many requests he had for samples of the vane. “A lot of shooters have asked if they can get some of the vanes to shoot in Louisville,” at the NFAA Indoor National Championship, March 20-21. “There’s been a lot of interest and excitement about the QuikSpin. Members of our pro staff who’ve used them are very happy with the way they’ve performed. “ With 24 X’s on Sunday alone, Bruce Malmberg is one of those very happy shooters. “That’s a best for me,” he said. “I am definitely shooting better with the QuikSpin.” http://www.newarchery.com
