Fishing Reels - SpiderŪ Tarantula And Stinger Fishing Rods Fishing Rods With The Attitude To Take Prisoners

Fishing Reels - Press Release

Fishing Reels-SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA - Spider has taken two lines of fishing rods, the Tarantula and the Stinger spinning and casting rods, and added new features most demanded by the angler. The Tarantula series of rods are designed for the serious angler and is built with a high modulus graphite blank. The woven graphite butt section improves sensitivity and strengthens the hook set. Hard chromium SS304 guides are stronger and tougher while making the rod lighter.

Cork handles provide a secure, comfortable grip and lasting durability.

A Stinger rod, with its solid fiberglass tip, combines just the right amount of fiberglass and graphite to make a powerful fishing rod with the sensitivity needed to feel the most diminutive bite. Hard chromium SS304 guides are stronger, lighter and usually reserved for use on higher priced rods.

Seven one and two-piece Tarantula spinning rods are offered from the 5' ultra-light action to the 7' medium. The Tarantula family includes four one-piece casting rods, from the 5'6" medium action to the 7' medium-heavy.

Tarantula rods have a suggested retail price of $29.95 and Spider rods have a suggested price of $22.95.
