Fishing Lures Worden's Introduces New T-55 "Super" Flatfish

Fishing Lures - Press Release

This is the first new FlatFish in over 60 years and it was worth the wait! Ever since Charlie Helin designed the original FlatFish in 1933, it has been the world standard for low speed action or "wiggle", and the new T-55 Super FlatFish is no exception.

While keeping the same superb action in the new T-55, Worden's has added strong, ready-to-fish quality hooks, handy "bait wrap" grooves and replaced the screw eyes in the nose and body with strong, dependable stainless steel "figure 8" harnesses. The new 5 1/2 inch FlatFish version also has modern, vertical, split construction and a body created with modern CADCAM computer technology.

The new T-55 is ready to fish right out of the package and is available in all the new and current popular FlatFish colors.

The First New FlatFish in Over 60 Years - AND IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!

Ever since Charlie Helin designed the original FlatFish in 1933, it has been the world standard for low speed action or "wiggle", and the new T-55 Super FlatFish is no exception.

The original FlatFish design still stands out from look-a-like lures with sound-a-like names for its matchless motion in a current or on the troll. This year, we kept the superb action but added strong, ready to fish, quality hooks, handy "bait wrap" grooves and replaced the screw eyes in the nose and body with strong, dependable stainless steel figure "8" harnesses. The Super FlatFish also has modern, vertical, split construction and a body and interior modeled with modern CAD-CAM computer technology. Anglers can use all their favorite back trolling or trolling techniques with more confidence than ever.

Take full advantage of these features:

Bait Wrap Grooves Guides like to bring their bait wrapped FlatFish pre-wrapped in a cooler. The grooves do not affect lure action in any way, so if you don't use them, just rig the Super FlatFish for your favorite techniques and go.

Holds in a current without "blowing out" The T-55 Super FlatFish keeps its unbeatable low speed action but now holds in a current without breaching the surface. Expect a tighter action as current or trolling speed increases and the famous low speed wiggle in mild currents.

Modern Hooks

Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp, wide gap, short shank hooks are standard for hooking and boating big fish and the Super FlatFish is ready to go right out of the package. No more hook tangles!

Ready to fish right out of the package! You can now install and remove the large #5 snap easily with the special lip design. Each Super FlatFish is ready to fish with little or no tuning and hook changes, but some anglers like to hone hook points to an absolute razor edge when after trophy size fish.
