Hunting Clothes - Dickies Out in the Open With Realtree® Camo

Hunting Clothes -

Hunting Clothes - Ft. Worth, Texas — After years of research, the world's dominant brand of work clothing announces the immediate rollout of an extensive line of Dickies Outdoor Apparel for hunting and outdoor enthusiasts. "We call it 'weekend workwear' for the serious outdoorsman," says Bob Scott, Dickies senior vice president of marketing and merchandising. "Monday through Friday, people rely on Dickies in the most rigorous work environments, so why not give them the best camo gear for their favorite weekend activities, too."

Dickies high quality, affordably priced outdoor apparel includes three distinctive camouflage lines tailored to a wide range of sporting needs: Dickies Signature, Big Game, and Waterfowl Series, with an emphasis on the popular Realtree® brand.

The Signature Series is a multi-purpose camouflage line of outerwear, overalls, pants, and coveralls suitable for most outdoor activities. The sturdy garments feature WeatherGuard™ water repellant finishes and Quietweave™ canvas, combined with popular Dickies workwear attributes such as reinforced elbows and knees, bi-swing back construction for ease of movement and rugged triple stitched seams.

The technical features and fabrics of the Big Game Series make it especially ideal for cold-weather hunts. Dickies' Weatherguard Extreme™ technology is a breathable fabric that is both waterproof and windproof. The jackets have cargo pockets with shell loops, built-in license holders and handwarmer pockets. This line also includes Dickies patented E-Z On E-Z Off coverall in all patterns.

The Waterfowl Series combats the intensely wet conditions of waterfowl hunting with Weatherguard Extreme™ waterproofing technology, and provides handy features for even the most serious hunter: sealed seams, side leg zippers, and handy clips for calls.

"We understand that Dickies camo can't just look like hunting apparel," says Scott. "It has to really work for the outdoorsman too, which is what people always count on the Dickies brand to deliver."

Dickies Outdoor Apparel will be available for Fall 2004.
