Bow Hunting - Tracer Lighted Arrows

Bow Hunting - Press Release

Bow Hunting - San Antonio, TX Tracer Products is the industry leader in lighted arrows. Our illuminated nock virtually eliminates lost arrows and significantly enhances shot placement and tracking your kill. Tracer offers a variety of lighted arrow products. The basic system is the Target Tracer that lights automatically when shot via a magnet and stays lit for 30 seconds. This enables accurate point-of-impact assessment. The 30-second duty cycle provides greater than 1000 shots and can be used for hunting. The Target TracerTM weighs 39 grains.

Tracer offers two models of our Hunter Tracer.

Magnetic Model – Magnetically activated just like the Target Tracer, the Magnetic Hunter TracerTM remains illuminated for up to 24 hours (48 hours on recent models). You deactivate this model by passing a magnet close to the tracer.

Touch On/Off Model – Simply touch this model and it will remain illuminated until you touch it again. Battery life is similar to our Magnetic Tracer.

Our Magnetic TracersTM add 39 grains to the aft end of arrows and this does not significantly degrade flight characteristics. In fact, TracersTM have been successfully tested with as little as 85-grain field tips at velocities up to 315 ft/sec. Our unique “O” ring permits the nock to be tuned (rotated) relative to the fletching. Furthermore, our patented design allows TracerTM batteries, magnets and electronics to be replaced individually and are available.

This switch has no moving parts. When you reach your game/target, touch the nock again and the tracer turns off. The Touch On/Off TracerTM weighs 40 grains.

Soon to come is the TracerTM Arrow. A carbon arrow with an integrated TracerTM nock.
