Hunting Scopes - Simmons Prohunter Scopes Are Upgraded With Multi-Coated Optics

Hunting Scopes - Simmons

Hunting Scopes - Simmons offers a scope to fit almost every need, firearm, and budget, and they haven't forgotten the shooter who can't spend big bucks to bag a buck. Long considered the workhorse of the Simmons line, ProHunter riflescopes won't cost more than the rifles they're mounted on, and they are dependable regardless of the elements. For 2004, they are an even greater value with the addition of multi-coated optics for a brighter, sharper view.

The new lens coating process enhances light transmission for hunting in low-light conditions and increases target definition, whether in inclement weather, shadowy woods, or at dusk or dawn. Every scope in the series has the upgraded lens coating, including numerous variables in 2-7x32mm, 3-9x40mm, 4-12x40mm, 6-18x40mm, and 6-24x42mm AO, plus two fixed-power scopes in 6x40mm and 1x32mm. Several finish and reticle options are offered.

In addition, a new Target Grey finish is available on the 6-18x40mm AO model, and two ProHunter scopes are offered with new reticle choices - a Mil-Dot reticle on the 6-24x42 AO for accurate long-range shooting, and an illuminated plex-type reticle on the 3-9x40mm.

All ProHunter scopes have fingertip-adjustable %-MOA click adjustments for windage and elevation, except the 6-24x42mm target scope, which has 1/8-MOA calibration. They are waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof.

Suggested retail prices of the ProHunter series range from $89.99 to $159.99.
