Hunting Bows - The New Mathews OUTBACK™ Is The Bow You’ll Want To Take Along HuntingHunting Bows - Whether you hunt behind the barn, out back behind the cabin or back in the far reaches of the mountains, plains or tundra, the new Mathews OUTBACK™ is the hunting bow you’ll want to take! The shorter, more parallel limbs make the OUTBACK extremely quiet and maneuverable. The more parallel limbs eliminate recoil and, as a result, eliminate noise. When combined with other recoil suppressing features like Perimeter Weighted Technology™, the OUTBACK is one remarkably quiet hunting bow. At just 31 1/2” axle-to-axle, the OUTBACK is also shorter than any hunting bow Mathews offers. That means you can better maneuver and shoot where other hunting bows don’t fit. This makes the OUTBACK extremely versatile under any conditions – from the plains, tundra or mountains, to the back of the barn. Another completely new introduction on the OUTBACK hunting bow is the new ergonomically superior InLine grip with a defined centerline. It features a wood inlay that shows you the center of the grip to more easily establish your centershot. The 80% let-off OUTBACK (65% also available) features the HP (High Performance) Cam, the least complex, most advanced cam ever available in a hunting bow. The V-LOCK™ Zero Tolerance Limb Cup System features a perfectly machined V-shaped “limb pocket” that guides the V-shaped limb into place for a snug, zero-tolerance fit. The “fingers” of the OUTBACK’s String Suppressors™ reach out and touch the bowstring so, upon release, string vibration is reduced. Vibration is even further reduced by the Harmonic Damping System™, which places weights on either end of the riser. Combined with the Ball Bearing Idler Wheel, you get one super smooth-shooting hunting bow. The OUTBACK’s looks are as innovative as its performance, as it features the new REALTREE® Hardwoods camo. The bow comes in draw lengths from 26” – 30” (including half sizes) and draw weights of 40 – 70 lbs. www.mathewsinc.com. |
