His initial idea for the device came when a dog managed to get into their duck blind and his hunting party was forced to scramble to get their guns safely out of the way of the reckless canine. From this experience came the idea for the Gun Grabber which allows you to keep your gun safely in place while remaining ready for the shot. Scott states he tried several different materials to create the device, but eventually settled on injection molded nylon and injection molded TPE or thermoplastic elastomer. The initial and idea came for duck hunting; however the Gun Grabber can be used for several different purposes. The device has proven to work well in tree stands and on sport utility vehicles with the optional ATV kit. Other ways the Gun Grabber can be used is at camp or at home for your overflow guns.
