Leupold VX-I Muzzleloader Scopes

Hunting & Fishing Gear Review

This year Leupold introduced two new muzzleloader scopes designed for close range hunting. The Leupold VX-I 1-4x20mm and VX-I 2-7x33mm Muzzleloader scopes are designed to spot game quickly in cover and place your shots with accuracy. The parallax is adjusted to 75 yards which has been determined to be where most game encounters take place when muzzleloader hunting. Both of the variable power models offer a field of view from 24 feet to 75 feet. Both of the scopes offer Leupold’s Heavy Duplex Reticle which makes them excellent muzzleloader scope choices in low-light conditions.

Leupold states both of these muzzleloader scopes are tailored to the specific needs of close up hunting conditions. “They also have the same general features common to all Leupold scopes: quality optics, rugged dependability, and absolute waterproof and fog proof integrity”.

These muzzleloader scopes from Leupold also feature their standard coat lens system to help deliver a bright scope picture while still providing excellent contrast to pick game out from the brush. Both models come in a matte black finish to help prevent your game from spooking at the sight of your scope.

Other key features: • Micro-friction dials for adjustment of elevation and windage (1/4-MOA each).

Main tube diameter: one inch.

Environmental protection: each scope is designed to be fully waterproof, shockproof and fog proof.

VX-I 1-4x20mm weight and length: 9 ounces (255.2 grams), 9.2 inches (23.4 centimeters).

VX-I 2-7x33mm weight and length: 10.5 ounces (297.7 grams), 11 inches (27.9 centimeters).

Don’t forget all Leupold scopes including their muzzleloader hunting scopes are backed by Leupold’s full lifetime guarantee.
