The Fiber Optic Sights are available on selected 20 and 12 gauge Model 500®'s and 835®'s as well as selected Accessory barrels, including the .50 caliber model 500®, 6-shot, 12 gauge muzzleloader barrel. Within the sight assemblies, an extremely thin, colored fiber gathers, concentrates and projects available light to an exposed, fiber-end. When the front sight's bright green fiber aligns with the two "red" fiber-ends of the rear sight, the result is an incredibly fast, on-line, target acquisition. The "Vent rib" style Fiber Optic sights are adjustable and the rear "rifle-sight" style Fiber Optic Sight is mounted to a rugged sight base that also offers precise windage and elevation adjustments.
